CITRUS AURANTIUM
Synonym: Bitter Orange
It is a tree that belongs to the botanical genus CITRUS, in the Rutaceae family, being a hybrid between Citrus Máxima and Citrus Reticulata.
They have bright green leaves with white orange blossoms from March to April. Its dark oranges with a bitter taste form in autumn and last well into spring. On the other hand, it is not demanding in terms of soil and is resistant to calcareous soils, but it does not tolerate salinity or wind (especially during the flowering season).
Ideal for tree-lined streets with a great decorative effect.
