FICUS CARICA
Synonym: fig tree.
Originally from Asia, it grows in many areas of the Mediterranean and in other parts of the world spontaneously between walls, rock fissures, dry land and cultivated land, so it requires little care.
It is a branched tree with a very short trunk with wide dark green leaves. In addition, its fruits called figs or figs are sweet and are consumed as fresh fruit.
On the other hand, the latex that emanates from its leaves can be used to cure warts and/or analgesic against insect bites.
