CITRUS AURANTIFOLIA (LIMA)
Synonym: lima
Originally from Southwest Asia, it is a tree that belongs to the botanical genus CITRUS, of the Rutaceae family. It is considered a hybrid between citrus medica and citrus micranatha, similar to the orange tree with a trunk height of up to 3 meters and sensitive to cold, preferring subtropical zones.
Due to its size it is ideal for patios and potted gardens. Its fruit is yellowish in color and can be sour or sweet.
